2021 Parks for Pollinators

September 4

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 12:00 am, repeating until September 6, 2021

Pearland is teaming up with the National Recreation and Park Association to help document pollinators around the US!

Anyone and everyone can visit the Shadow Creek Ranch Nature Trail, September 3rd through 6th, to help participate in the 2021 Pearland Parks for Pollinator BioBlitz Event. Participation is free and must be done through the iNaturalist app or website. Any observation you make at the Shadow Creek Ranch Nature Trail can be added to our project on iNaturalist, and will count during our event.

You can find the iNaturalist project for this event here.

To make things extra polleny this year, the Delores Fenwick Nature Center will also host a lesson on September 4th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., all about local pollinators, plants and giving away small prizes for participants.
