We haven’t had the flu in years and forgot how it can really turn your life upside down! We had no energy to do the basics like cook, clean, shower, etc … It was an awful few weeks. It’s incredible how your body literally shuts down to put all efforts into fighting off the virus. However we did find comfort in things like vicks on the feet with socks, lots of tea and more. Here’s a list of home remedies shared by our very own mama community. (p.s., I hope you never have to use it!).

Find Comfort in These Home Remedies
- Tylenol for body aches and NyQuil for throat and cough suppressants. Humidifier!
- At night, vicks on the feet with socks, vicks on the chest, humidifier, honey/lemon/ginger tea before bed, prop up on 2 or 3 pillows
- Rest!
- Ginger Tea (tastes disgusting but clears the symptoms)
- Freezing the vapor rub into ice cubes for chest rubs
- Honey with lemon and chase it with tequila!
- Oregano and ginger tea. No sugar! Also, Vicks
- Oregano Oil
- Hot lemon ginger honey tea
- Onion on the feet overnight with socks
- Everything with Onion, lots of soup, warm wraps
