The stars and stripes will be in full effect as we celebrate our country’s birthday at the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center! Don’t forget to wear your red, white, and blue to pay tribute to the land of the free and the home of the brave.

What’s happening

Captain America: Join us for a fun-filled July 4th celebration as Captain America greets guests and takes photos.
When: From 10 am to 2 pm roaming around the Museum

Mad Science Show with DJ Tyler: Watch exciting mad science demonstrations that combine fun, learning, and jaw-dropping experiments!
When: At 10:30 am and 12:30 pm in Kidtropolis Town Center

Captain America Storytimes: Join Captain America for a captivating storytime as he shares tales of teamwork and courage!
When: At 11:30 am and 1:30 pm in Kidtropolis Town Center

Face Painters: Skilled artists will transform you into a masterpiece with vibrant designs and fun characters!
When: From 10:30 am to 2:30 pm in the Schoolroom

Kidpendence Wishes Community Art: Decorate red, white, or blue paper strips with words, drawings, and prompts about what you love in your community and what you hope for the future, then help build a giant collaborative chain representing 250 years of shared stories and ideas.
When: From 10 am to 1 pm in Art Academy
