Can you explain the difference between strip lashes, magnetic lashes and lash extensions?
Strip lashes are a pre-made band of lashes that are applied with removable adhesive daily.
Magnetic lashes are the newest trend of lashes and the eyelashes are sandwiched between two magnetic eyelash bands.
Eyelash extensions are the safest form of applying artificial lashes. Extensions are applied one by one to your natural eyelash to ensure the integrity of your natural lash is not compromised.
What are the different styles of eyelash extensions you can get?
There are 4 types of eyelash extensions: Classic, Hybrid, Volume, and Mega Volume. Each type can be styled into a cat eye, open eye, squirrel, strip-look, or rounded look.
Are lash extensions okay for sensitive eyes? What about people who wear contacts or have allergies?
Lash extensions are safe for sensitive eyes and there are adhesives created specifically for them. I actually have allergies and wear contact lenses, and I have been wearing eyelash extensions for over 8 years.
What are the do’s and don’ts of lash extension care? How long do they last?
Avoid picking and pulling eyelash extensions, applying mascara, avoid oil-based products, and rubbing the eyes. Proper lash extensions are cleaned properly and get refills every 2-3 weeks.
What can I expect on my first visit?
Expect to enjoy yourself. Mysterious Lashes is about creating an experience where clients can relax, listen to calming music, and wake up to extensions they love. My goal is create the lashes customized just for you.
Do you think lash extensions would be a good option for busy moms?
Eyelash extensions are a great option for busy moms. It decreases applying makeup in the morning and it gives you the makeup effect. The best part about it is touchups are only recommended every 2-3 weeks.
