Now open on Mondays, the Lone Star Flight Museum has a summer full of fun planned for the family that kicked off on Memorial Day weekend and will carry on through the rest of the season! If you’ve yet to visit, their air-conditioned hangars and kid-friendly museum is a super fun way to fill your days and is definitely worth the drive!
Father’s Day Weekend, June 18 – 19
Did you know you can book a private warbird ride for dad, AND you can save $25 through June 17? Literally, pick a plane and make a reservation! Dad will for sure geek out with this unique and memorable flight experience.
On Saturday, June 18, The Force is Strong! Enjoy characters from a galaxy far, far away, make a ‘Yoda Best Dad’ Father’s Day card, check out their Nasa Rover Tours, listen to hangar talks on aircraft and learn about air battles that inspired the movies! July 4th Weekend – Celebrate Independence day with patriotic activities, demonstrations and tours all weekend long!
July 9 – Touch a Truck – Tour LSFM aircraft and aerospace displays along with military, police and fire vehicles.
Children ages 8 – 14 can enjoy the following planned camps: Crafty Aircraft, Pilot Maker, Aces & Legends and Flight Engineering.
