We had the pleasure of visiting PJ’s Coffee on the west side of Pearland at Kingsley and Broadway. Kyra Sam is the owner and she allowed us to taste some of the delicious fall themed flavors of the season! She is also a Mom of two and is our featured Meet-A-Mom this month!
Kyra is the Mom of two boys, 8 and 6! She moved from Houston to Pearland for 4 ½ years ago because she loved the feeling of a smaller community vibe.
Favorite activity: Urban Air and Kid N’ Play
Favorite places to shop and eat: Costco, Little Tokyo and Rollie’s Frozen Custard
One thing people would be surprised to know about you? I was a Barista at PJ’s in my college years!
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood? My Mom and Husband
Tell us about your other activities besides a business owner and Mom: I’m on the PTO and Brother’s Elementary, a member of the Pearland Chamber and a Mom of an autistic child (oldest son).
How has the community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now? With having a small business and being a new brand in a big market, it definitely takes the community support to survive and thrive.
