How many children do you have and what are their ages?
JuliAnna with her husband Brandon, Ty 5, Max 4 and Apollo 8 months.
My oldest Tygerlily is 5. My son Maximus just turned 4 (they are just shy of 17 months apart, so fun!) and my baby Apollo is 10 months.
How long have you lived in Pearland? What made you decide to live here?
I have been in Pearland for nearly 6 years now, we moved from Nassau Bay area to build our starter home, but my husband and I are both from a small suburb in Missouri.
What’s your favorite family activity Pearland?
We absolutely love our community pools and splash pad! They both provide countless hours of joy for the whole family and also are a great meet up spot for us to playdate with our favorite friends.
Where’s your favorite place to eat and/or shop Pearland?
We live at Bahama Bucks in the summertime. After we leave the pool we head over for an icy treat and play the provided board games!
What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I have my degree in Baking/Pastry and Nutrition and also went to college for Early Childhood Education, I have basically been training my whole life to be the best mom I can be. lol
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
I would have to say my husband, we began our relationship in 2003 when we were very young and took our time to plan the exact life we wanted to provide for our kids, he balances me.
Tell us about your volunteering and your creative after school activities!
I absolutely adore volunteering at my kids schools, I have my hand in everything from outdoor education, to cooking with the class, mystery reader, and chairing school Gala boards, I try to go out of my way to culture and educate the three of them at every opportunity from activism to travel, to making mud pies. They are my full time business!
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
I have really met the most amazing women through the mom groups and local businesses here, one of my best friends I met from a resale post and another at the local yoga studio! All of the moms in our area are so ready to help each other, it really is a small town vibe in the big city.
