Meet Perla and Indira, two Pearland moms who are taking over the party scene with the best balloon décor in the Houston area. In between chasing toddlers and full time careers, they’ve managed to tackle entrepreneurship head on with great success. Get to know these magical mamas and how they do it all!
How long have you lived in Pearland and how many children do you have?
We’ve lived in Pearland for 5 years. Perla has a 4 year old and Indira has a 2 year old!
Where’s your favorite place to eat and/or shop in Pearland?
We love a good coffee from Pearland Coffee Roasters, they have a way of perking up your day! We enjoy pastries from local baker Ally from @sweetbeebakeshop, her croissants are to die for!
Where do you go locally for pampering or for a moms night out?
Anywhere that can offer a good cocktail and delicious dinner!
What do you do for self care?
In a world immersed in technology, we both agree that the best self care is to disconnect for a while and spend time with the people who make you happy.
What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
That PoshPop is our side business and we actually both have full time careers.

Our families are our backbone, without them we definitely would not be where we are today.

We both hold district positions for a large school district and we absolutely love what we do. About a year and a half ago we started PoshPop Balloons as a way to express our creativity and give ourselves an opportunity to dive into the world of entrepreneurship.
Although our careers and motherhood keep us very busy, we have managed to grow the PoshPop brand into a highly sought after balloon business. We have worked with top names like Simone Biles, Daniella Correa, Kara McCullers, Salata and CycleBar to name a few! We are excited for what the future holds!
What is your best advice for juggling motherhood and running a business?
Prioritize your time and use it wisely. We try to be intentional with every minute of our working day.
What would you tell the “old you” before you had kids?
SLEEP! lol no but really. We would say take your time in starting a family because so many things change after that. Use the time before kids to really find your passion, set yourself up for success so that the road is easier for you when you have a family.
We both went to school and received our Masters degrees BEFORE we had kids and we are glad we did, we were able to give our families a better life because of it. Not to say that moms can’t go to school, those who do are warriors!
Funniest shortcut or routine for helping you through parenthood?
Not stressing about the little things. They will eventually eat something off the floor, don’t have a heart attack over it! Life will be better for you and your kids if you don’t sweat the small stuff.
