My kiddos and I had a photo session last Saturday at Tom Bass Park with a photographer from Shoott. Shoott is new to the Houston area and I didn’t know what to expect. Booking the session was super easy. All I had to do was go to their website, choose a time and location and sign up. Directions, suggestions for attire and props are given as well as what to do about bad weather (they usually take pictures rain or shine).
There is no charge for the 30 minute photo session, and with a 3 and 4 year old, that is about all the time we can handle. You only pay for the pictures you love. The prices are $15 per picture, $120 for 10 or $220 for all the pictures. This is the best bang for your buck considering most photo sessions I’ve priced usually include rights to about 20 photos ranging from $350-$500 and more.
What’s the picture quality? Well, I’m super impressed! I am in love with my photos! Our photographer Rebekah was amazing. She was great with my kids. She helped me with poses and arranged my hair and clothes! I am constantly reading recommendations for great, affordable photographers on our local social media groups, well ladies, look no further! Photo Shoot #2 Update!
I was so impressed with my first photo session, I booked a second session for the next weekend! The sessions was for the announcement of South Houston Moms and my new partner and BFF Emily McAdams and I needed some cute pictures together.
Needless to say, our second session was just as easy and great! Our meeting place was downtown and our photographer kindly texted us traffic updates before our shoot! He was very kind and patient and helped us with our poses, hair and props. We received our pictures about 5 days later and we were very happy with the results. Take a look!
