Meet Dr. Pamela Clark, Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and Owner of Pearland Pediatric Dentistry
Having fun and building relationships with my patients and their families is what I get to do every day! As a board- certified pediatric dentist, I provide positive experiences for kids while providing them with the best oral health care. I have the honor of seeing our patients from their first visit until they are young adults.
After graduating from Texas A&M (Whoop!), completing dental school and residency in Houston, I opened Pearland Pediatric Dentistry in 2005 in the community where I grew up. I have continued to be involved in organized dentistry and the community through organizations, volunteering, and doing presentations. My training and experience have provided me with the ability to take care of kids from birth through their teens, including children with special needs and infants with nursing/frenum concerns. Our special needs patients hold a special place in my heart, and it brings so much joy to see their smiles.
Through annual training, additional classes, and hands-on courses, I have continued and expanded my education for my patients to provide the most current technologies and procedures. The part of dentistry that I truly enjoy is the people and being able to take care of each child as an individual.
I enjoy life outside of the office with my two teen daughters (Ellie and Laurel) and my husband (Jerry). As a family, we enjoy traveling, snow-skiing, hiking, being active in our church, and taking care of our dogs. One of my goals is to hike part of the Appalachian Trail and to travel to a foreign country to provide dental care to children on a dental mission trip.
I am thankful for my amazing team, our many patients and parents, and our wonderful community! I have the best career with the most rewards- a child’s smile!
Meet Jada Tyler, Founder of En Pointe Dance Academy
At just 19 years old, Jada Tyler established En Pointe Dance Academy in August 2018. The primary objective behind founding En Pointe Dance Academy was to provide local students with equitable access to dance opportunities, comparable to those available in more affluent communities. Having grown up as a shy and introverted individual, dance served as a vital means of self-expression and a sense of belonging. It also inspired me to set goals and challenged me in ways that fostered success. As someone with a burning passion for dance, I sought to share this experience with dancers in my community.
At EPDA, our approach involves setting personalized goals for each student and working with them to achieve these objectives. Our instructors prioritize proper technique, alignment, and posture to minimize the risk of injury. Our objective is to empower each student with confidence, strength, flexibility, and a sense of accomplishment. Between achieving numerous choreography and standout awards and our dancers competing at the “World of Dance Finals 2023,” I am beyond proud of the studio I founded. Ultimately, our goal extends beyond preparing dancers for professional opportunities; we aim to equip them with the skills and resilience necessary to excel in all aspects of life.
Meet Vanessa DeLuna, Practice Director of Smile Doctors Orthodontics Pearland/Cypress
I have been in the dental industry for 16 years, and my passion for what I do continues to grow. Born and raised in Chicago, I spent 21 years there before moving to Texas with my five children. At the time, I had nothing and no clear direction, but I believed that the Lord had a plan for me. That belief led me to explore a dental school, and the moment I walked in, I knew I had found where I belonged. I completed my education, entered the dental field, and never looked back.
I truly love what I do—changing lives through orthodontics. Seeing a patient start treatment and witnessing the transformation in their confidence as their smile improves warms my heart. It’s incredible to watch them fall in love with themselves and leave our office radiating happiness.
For the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of working with Smile Doctors, where I am surrounded by an amazing team and exceptional leadership. Outside of work, my family and I love to travel, especially to beaches, where we can relax and enjoy quality time together. I have also been blessed with three wonderful grandkids who mean the world to me. Life has been a journey, but I am grateful for every step that has led me to where I am today—doing what I love and making a difference, one smile at a time.
Meet Eva Santana, BSN, RN – Founder of Fresh Look by Eva
I’m Eva Santana, a cardiac nurse with over 10 years of experience, currently working in the high-trauma Cath Lab. My passion for aesthetics and wellness led me to create Fresh Look by Eva, where I help people look and feel their best through IV drips, vitamin injections, medical weight loss programs, fillers, Botox, plasma fibroblasts and microneedling with PRP/PRF.
I started this business because I love taking care of people and wanted to bring my medical expertise into the beauty and wellness space. Seeing my clients feel more confident and energized is what truly drives me!
Beyond my business, I believe in the power of community and uplifting others. That’s why I host monthly social events to bring together strong, inspiring women entrepreneurs. My Bosses Networking Group is all about building connections, supporting each other’s growth, and creating opportunities for success.
When I’m not working or networking, I love spending time with my husband, three beautiful kids, and family. Traveling and exploring new places also bring me so much joy!
If you’re looking for a supportive community of like-minded entrepreneurs, I’d love for you to check out my networking group! Let’s grow together!
Meet Claudia Leos, Bilingual Realtor with Aliance Realty Group
Meet Taylor Moon, Owner of Rhea Lana’s of Southeast Houston
Rhea Lana’s of Southeast Houston is an upscale, biannual children’s consignment event that provides families with the opportunity to buy and sell high-quality, gently used children’s items, including clothing, shoes, toys, baby gear and so much more. After leaving my healthcare career to stay home with my first baby, I wasn’t looking for a job and never imagined becoming an entrepreneur. However, after shopping at a nearby franchise and learning about the heart behind Rhea Lana’s, I knew I wanted to be part of this amazing organization and bring this concept to our community.
Rhea Lana’s of Southeast Houston is deeply committed to the community, not only through partnerships with local small businesses but also by giving back. At the end of each event, consignors have the option to donate their unsold items, and we invite foster families to shop these high-quality items free of charge. Any remaining items are donated to local nonprofits, including foster closets and Clothed by Faith.
What I love most is being able to offer families high quality children’s items that might otherwise be difficult to afford. Every item in our database is carefully quality checked to meet our high standards, giving shoppers a premium resale experience.
At Rhea Lana’s our quality, customer service and organization are unmatched! We are just Moms helping Moms!
Meet Markesha Wattree, Founder of Juggle Learning, LLC
I have seen the frustration on a child’s face when learning to read feels impossible. I have also seen the moment when everything falls into place, when their eyes light up with confidence and they realize they can do it. That moment is why I do what I do. Every child deserves to feel that sense of accomplishment, and every parent and educator deserves the right tools to help them get there.h
I founded Juggle Learning to make reading an experience that feels natural, enjoyable, and rewarding. Children learn best when they are engaged, and my products are designed to invite them into the learning process in a way that feels like play. From paint-byword canvases, to color and wash plushies, to dry-erase phonics cards, every resource I create helps young learners develop essential literacy skills while building confidence along the way.
Since launching Juggle Learning, I have had the opportunity to support parents, educators, and schools with creative tools that make a real difference. Whether I am designing new products, collaborating with businesses, or working with communities to expand access to early literacy resources, my goal remains the same. I want every child to feel capable, excited, and ready to embrace the world of reading.
When I am not developing new ways to make learning fun, I love to travel and explore new places. I especially enjoy visiting unique bookstores and cozy coffee shops. There is nothing better than discovering a hidden literary gem or enjoying the perfect cup of coffee while dreaming up my next big idea. There WILL be more fun products coming this summer!
