Mamas, we got to check out the Splash Pad at the plaza adjacent to Smart Financial Centre and it’s not your typical pad but still loads of fun for everyone. And guess what? There’s shaded seating available, so you can stay cool and comfortable while the kiddos splash around the fountain as it rotates through it’s water sequence.
With convenient restroom facilities and a large parking lot, it’s a breeze to visit. Just remember to park directly behind the building for easy access – the other lots are closed off. The Splash Pad operates from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but do note that it’s closed every Monday until noon for maintenance and operates until October 15.
Want to activate the water flow? Simply find the green button on the informative sign next to the splash pad. Oh, and here’s an important tip: the water spouts may be a bit strong for children ages 3 and under, so keep that in mind and adjust based on what you think your child can handle. So grab your towels and sunscreen, and get ready for something a little different!
