We have been committed to swim lessons at Houston Swim Club Pearland since December 2019. Carter is 4 1/2 and Harper is 3. We love to go to our community pool and play in the water during the summer. I love relaxing at the pool. Two small children who don’t know basic swim skills does not equal a relaxing time at the pool, and the last two summers have not been very relaxing for this Mama.
I also want my kids to enjoy their time in the water and have fun, and not be afraid of getting their face wet. I want them to create life long memories of playing in the water safely. Before we started lessons Carter was afraid to jump freely in the water and hated getting his face wet. Harper, my wild child only wanted to swim under water like a mermaid. Today, both kids have officially passed their float tests and can swim pretty good! Here are some of the many reasons why we love The Houston Swim Club:
ALL the instructors are sweet, silly and committed to doing an amazing job! Every teacher we’ve had have all been so great! We love them all and I can tell by their expressions that they really care about my kids.
ALL the instructors have patience of angels, especially with my two.
The staff are super kind and helpful! Every questions and interaction I’ve had when I’ve called or been at the front desk has been answered with a smile and a helpful response!
The waiting area, changing rooms and restrooms are always clean! Love that!
The silly songs are always on repeat on the way home!
The frog slide is a must for any small child!
The light up shower heads are a great excitement for bath time!
I love the 30 minutes all to myself as I sit and watch my kids be silly and learn!
My kids leave with huge smiles and dumb dumb lollipops, (and like today, Harper cried because she didn’t want to leave).
I’m looking forward to a more enjoyable summer at the pool all thanks to The Houston Swim Club!
